In order to avoid any inconvenience related to transport, rods, reels and of course float-tubes are provided.
For fly fishing, you will have the privilege of fishing with a selection of the best JMC brand rods combined with high-end reels: JMC Ruby 8'6, 9′, 9'6, JMC Excellence 8'6, 9 '6, Elite Salmon 13′, etc.
Spinning rods are handcrafted from high quality materials: high modulus blanks, fuji rings, etc.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of fishing equipment to take :
- Wading shoes
- waders
- Sticky
- Waterproof fishing jacket
- Polar
- Polarized glasses
- Cap.
Effective lures are: imitation trout or minnow crankbaits of 5/7cm, spinners N°3 or 4 (blue works well), vibrax, undulating spinners such as Cyclops in size 0 to 2.
Small jigs for lakes allow you to fish well at the bottom and for the surface, an imitation dragonfly will be effective.
For the salmon, take quimperloises, large “willow leaves”, blades, undulating or must.
For flies, give preference to imitations of sedge, mayfly, beetle, dragonfly, grasshopper, chernobyl ant; dragonfly larvae, prince-nymph or hare's ear for the nymph.
Do not hesitate to bring large models to facilitate the visibility of the fly; refusals on the size are rare.
Personally equipped with Bestard brand canyoning shoes, Canyon Guide model, a few pairs are available for testing. It's an excellent shoe, light, comfortable, with good ankle support, easy to put on and take off, all with good grip.
Three seasons that I use the same pair in intensive use… unheard of: definitely adopted!
